SHIHO SPICES was established in the year 2001 and started to market its product under the brand name PURE GOLD on Turmeric powder only in the initial stage. By the demand of the consumers, this unit has launched another nineteen products like garam masala, Vegetable masala, Meat masala, Fish masala, Chicken masala, Kitchen queen, Coriander powder, chilli powder, Mustard powder, Jeera powder, Jeera whole, Ginger powder and besan in pouch and box packs. Now, the unit has got twenty products in the market which captured almost the market in Imphal.

Most of the materials are collected from the virgin soil of both plain & hills and every step has been taken care from the begining i.e. peeling, washing, pulverizing, sieving, packaging and storing of the products is done under strict vigilance and supervision of well experience workers. The unit is following the manufacturing pattern of Central Good Technological Research Institute, Mysore, performing AGMARK specifications and started construction for a mini-laboratory for testing the products for getting AGMARK Quality of Certification. That's why, every product of PURE GOLD is famous for its unadulterated hygienic and good quality spices.

The basic objective of this unit is to solve the unemployment, to promote the farmers/growers to earn a steady income in buy back basis, hereby encouraging them for more production while the state will get monetary outflow from this sector.
